Scott, a pastor and his wife Erin had two children with one on the way. They eagerly purchased 312 Martin Street and started working with the neighborhood children with clean up days, coaching, mentoring, etc. In 2013, when a local family wanted to donate a historical home on 1007 E. Church Street, to Habitat, the Roberts family stepped up to volunteer to rehab the home and wanted the opportunity to raise their children in this larger home on Church Street. By 2016, the rehab was completed and Wicomico Habitat bought back their first home and sold the Church Street home. Erin stayed a homemaker until their youngest was school age.
